TVCC 2+2 Tech Prep and Dual Credit Option

TVCC 2+2 Tech Prep and Dual Credit Option

2+2

2+2 Tech Prep is a Dual Credit option for students seeking a 2-year degree in a technical field and is designed to award college credit for skills attained while still in high school. At Treasure Valley Community College you can begin earning college credit through our 2+2 programs as early as your freshman year in one of our partnering high schools.

2+2 Credits must be earned through a TVCC partner high school and student must complete a TVCC Application for Admission. Individual course registration is completed through the high school instructor and there is no charge. The 2+2 credits earned at high school are included in the TVCC degree program. The 2+2 credits are Career & Technical (CTE) credits and are not designed to transfer to a four year university, however some universities MAY accept the 2+2 credits as electives.
